Hi guys,

So for this year's challenge, I thought I'd stick a little closer to home, by running a half marathon round East London!

In October, 2012, I will be taking part in the Nike+ Run To The Beat raising money for Leukaimia and Lymphoma Research.

For those of you that don't know my running capabilities (or lack thereof!), at the beginning of the year I would struggle to run for a bus, so running over 13 miles is an enormous challenge for me, and far more daunting to me than merely cycling across Vietnam and Cambodia!

Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is a FANTASTIC charity, being the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers. Anyone can get blood cancer at any age. Around 30,000 people diagnosed with blood cancer every year in the UK, so the groundbreaking research done by this charity really does benefit every man, woman and child.

This is a cause close to my heart, so please dig deep! And dont forget to tick to give gift aid (which makes your donation go even further).
