Well I've finally decided to do it!! On 24th August I will attempt to run the BRG Challenge. The BRG is a challenging 17 ½ mile course that starts at Fraserburgh, along the beautiful, Buchan coast line and finishes in Gardenstown. Being half Fraserburgh and half Gamric, I have always wanted to run it but just never been brave enough. It might not be as long a distance as a marathon but if you know the road- you'll know why it's a challenge!!

 

As well as completing this challenge, I also wanted to try and raise some pennies for a very special charity called Kayleigh's Wee Stars. Kayleigh's Wee Stars was set up last year by 2 of my very brave, uni friends, after they lost their beautiful, 2 year old daughter to an aggressive brain tumour. The charity provides financial support for families in and around Aberdeenshire, where a child has a terminal illness. A little bit can go a long way to help others.
