Not that plunge!! Although this does seem just as daunting...

We're taking on the longest zip wire in Europe, which will see us reaching speeds of up to 100 mph, traveling 500ft above the mountain lake in Snowdonia. Those who know me, know that I'm not a fan of heights (that trapeze will forever remain in my memory) so this really is a horrific prospect for me.

I've been working for Sparks since the start of 2013 and since then have been roping David into helping out with numerous events. This is probably taking it a bit far but hopefully he won't realise what he's let himself in for until we get there... 

So what do Sparks do? 
We fund research at universities and hospitals across the UK, seeking cures and treatments for serious medical conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be. We're a small charity with BIG ambition and have pledged to fund over £9.6 million to projects over the next three years. 

I know that this isn't a marathon but really do appreciate any support that you can give to us and the charity - every £40 raised is an hour of a researcher's time.
