I have been heavily involved in organising the Sponsored Shark Dive day at Deep Sea World for Team Albagua as part of WaterAid's innovation challenge Water Innovators. 

At the last minute a diver was needed and I was nominated by the team to go up close and personal with the sharks. I nearly backed out at the last minute, watching the others in the tank from the tunnel and then trying the breathing apparatus underwater made me feel a little sick. However I made it 3m down below the water and spent 20 minutes down there. I stroked some rays and saw the sharks really close (they are much bigger that they seem)! 

It was a brilliant opportunity which I am so grateful for! If you know me I am so risk averse a shark dive would not be my chosen fun but for WaterAid I gave it a go and it was in fact brilliant.
