Join us on our journey through the Camino de Santiago and support those experiencing homelessness.

Story

Its 3.5 years since I last took on a challenge for a Charity, which some of you will recall was 100km in the Sahara for Peter McVerry. ( see this video for more http://www.youtu.be/qgJs4OowOTY )

This time my friend John Kelly who has fundraised for the Dublin Simon Community for many years, asked me to take a weeks leave from work and join him on a 116km walk along the Camino de Santiago.  Sadly he can't join me and the official Dublin Simon Walk is cancelled for this year. But thanks to www.hilltoptreks.ie, I have paid to join them on their St. Jean De Port to Estella walk, which is Part 1 of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, known as The Way of St.James.
