Story
Hi, and welcome to the story about the running carrot.
I'm Reece Howe, and I'm running the London Marathon dressed as a carrot. Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
So why a carrot? I'm running to raise money for Age UK, who do amazing work for the elderly. I run Kirkwood Care, an elderly care provider, and one of the areas that continues to shock and horrify us is how bad a job hospitals do of providing proper nutrition to their elderly patients. Hence the carrot!
I've attached some information about the issue of malnutrition in hospitals for you to peruse at your leisure, but in the meantime please donate as much as you can, so we can help turn hospitals into places of recovery, rather than decline, for elderly people.
Thanks!
Reece
