Hi
Thanks for taking the time to view my page!
As you may know from previous fundraising attempts me and my family have a heart felt link with Ronald Mcdonald House Guy's and St Thomas. My younger cousin, Bo, was born very prematurely weighing 1lb and 4oz in St Thomas hospital in central London. In order to keep my family together in this troublesome time we turned to Ronald Mcdonald House Charities. They enabled my close family to move from their homes in Wolverhampton to accommodation in London close to St Thomas hospital for 5 months while my cousin was undergoing medical attention. This enabled those who travelled to maintain relatively normal living conditions and saved the long trip from Wolverhampton to London daily. While allowing for close support from my grandparents to my auntie and uncle in this difficult time.
Bo, with odds firmly stacked against her, managed to make a full recovery and is now a beautiful young 12 year old who has now started secondary school. We feel as a family we have owe much to this brilliant charity who helped us make a difficult, emotional time much smoother. Take a look at the link for further info on the charity. http://www.rmhc.org.uk/what-we-do/
In March 2016 me, my twin brother Mitch and close friend Ryan completed Ironbridge half marathon subsequently leading to me completing 6 half marathons in 6 consecutive months from March-August. We raised a total of £480.
This year, I wanted to take it one step further by completing the full 26.2 marathon distance. I will be running ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon on Sunday 2nd April.
A final thank you for reading my story and if you could share this page to any social media platforms I would very much appreciate it.
Please if you can, donate to my cause!
