Thanks for making time to visit our fundraising page (either voluntarily or because we have been relentlessly badgering you). We are really keen to help support this local cause in Tanzania.

One of us (Reema) was part of the of a volunteer group way back in 2007 which provided support in the early days of the charity. She and others collected old school books from across London then shipped them over to secondary schools in Tanzania to help establish libraries, helping to address a lack of access to educational resources in Tanzanian secondary schools. Ten years later, we’d like to provide further support to this amazing charity.

In order to raise money for such a worthwhile cause, Reema Kumar, Sukhi Gill and John Osborne will attempt to climb and reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro!  READ international has already donated over 1.5 million books to Tanzania and has created 93 libraries in secondary schools, your donation will only increase these numbers!
