Refugee Women Connect's World Mental Health Day Appeal

World Mental Health Day Appeal · 10 October 2020
At Refugee Women Connect, we're incredibly proud of the work that our Mental Health and Wellbeing team do to support women in the refugee and asylum seeker communities. During lockdown, the vast majority of women in our community (82%) told us that their mental health had worsened, so demand for our services remains very high, and our team works very hard to provide the best help and support that we can.
In the run up to World Mental Health Day on the 10th October, we are holding an online exploration of the five senses, and how we can all use different strategies and coping mechanisms to support our mental health during this very difficult time. We hope that you'll join our conversation, and help spread awareness of the importance of mental health.
