First of all thank you for taking the time to read our "Just Giving" page which is in aid of Marie Curie Hospice, Solihull, on behalf of Reg.

As a family we knew that Marie Curie was close to Reg's heart, as he provided a regular donation to them.

As you all know he became very poorly, and little did we think that from the support he had given, he would in fact require their help and support over the last couple of months of his life.

It was in this period that the nurses, doctors & staff made his journey as peaceful and pain free as possible.  Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They are all exceptional people, the kindness of them all was breathtaking at times!

With the above in mind, as a family we have decided to ask for donations in lieu of flowers at Reg's funeral, as this truly is, a worthwhile cause which relies on the generosity of donations.

Reg's funeral will be held at the Robin Hood Crematorium on Thursday 2nd August at 12pm, afterwards we would like you to join us, to celebrate his life and share your special moments of remembrance.  The venue will be at the Home Guards Club, 21A  Doveridge Road, Birmingham, B28 0LS.
