We are a small dedicated group of volunteers who since 2014 have been rescuing Labradors across the UK to assist owners in the safe, responsible rehoming of Labradors. In 2020 we became a Registered Charity, Number 1191538. We are totally self-funded by fundraising throughout the year.

Story

Reggie, who is just 1 year old was re-homed by us about six weeks ago.  We knew that he had a poorly leg, but that didn’t stop us helping him.

His former owner was told that he had elbow dysplasia following an x-ray by their vet, it was advised that he be booked in for a CT scan and operation asap to remove bone fragments from his elbow to make him
better.  His owners were too busy to do this and so left him in pain and he spent most of the next six months in the kitchen.  Unfortunately, the owners also cancelled his insurance!

Thankfully, we found the most amazing new family for him,
who knew of the medical condition, but were willing to take this on.  We had hoped that their insurance would cover his condition, but unfortunately, after another x-ray, it was found that the damage was not trauma related but genetic, therefore not covered by insurance!

The cost to fix this little furby, who deserves a chance of not only being able to walk pain free, but also running at his nearby beaches is going
to cost approximately £3.500.00!

We are hoping that with your help we can raise enough to
cover the costs of the CT Scan and Operation.
If you can help this pupper, please do donate, it really would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Caroline
