We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

As I am sure you are all aware Ben sadly passed away on 26th October surrounded by his family at the Myton Hospice in Warwick, following eighteen months of treatment for a Brain
Tumour. Aged 49 Ben leaves a remarkable family, Deb's his wife and two daughters, Lexie and Kimmy as well as his parents, brother and sister.

Many of you knew Ben from his time at ISG or
previous employers and will remember Ben with great fondness; his ability to always smile and remain positive were just two characteristics that helped him through any challenge. The tributes to Ben across LinkedIn and social media
have been quite extraordinary, but he was much more than a colleague.

His selflessness and desire to help and support others was quite remarkable and is clearly shared by his family. To honour her Dad, Kimmy is running the Myton Hospice Santa Dash on 11th December; I remember Ben proudly telling me that he ran the event with Kimmy previously and she left him
for dust at the sprint finish. Deb's will run with Kimmy as this is extra poignant and challenging for them both as Myton Hospice also cared for Deb's Father in July of this year.

I appreciate that many of you kindly donated to support #BurtonBash in October which as of last night smashed the £10k barrier. This is an amazing achievement and will continue to be an annual event as a true legacy to such an amazing guy. We would like to try and support Ben's family by donating to their fundraising. Please if you are able donate as you all know ISG will match fund our donation so we can help make a real difference. All donations will go to Myton Hospice.
