In Remembrance of Betty Harris

As a family we would like to ask for charitable donations instead of funeral flowers in remembrance of Betty Harris, to continue her devotion to helping those with dementia.
Betty was a former trustee of Age UK Dacorum, and she volunteered weekly at COGS. Betty was well known for writing poems to read out at the weekly groups, which everyone looked forward to hearing. The poetry book was printed and sold to raise money for this amazing charity.
We would like to share one of Betty's poems with you all
Team Spirit -
It could be rugby, netball, darts, tug-o-war or rounders. No matter what the game is they don’t want any flounderers.
Now those are some of sporting genre but there are others too, where teams of good folk get together just like the COGS clubs do.
We all need that team spirit and I don’t mean brandy or rum I mean our getting together where we all share so much fun.
We surely need each other like every human soul so thank you just for being you and always reaching our goal.
Thank you
