Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  This is a bit about why I am doing this.

I am very shocked and upset that my Nana, Colleen Thorne passed away this week from lung cancer.  

She was diagnosed at the beginning of 2020 and her illness took hold very rapidly.  I miss her so much.

As I am struggling at the moment to process what has happened I thought I would put my emotions into something positive and so I have decided to do a bike ride from Nana's house in Northchurch to Brownsea Island in Dorset.  

Brownsea Island was a place that Nana and Grandad used to visit regularly, meeting up with many Waitrose Partners and friends. Nana loved going there and we were lucky enough to spend the day on Brownsea Island with Nana and Grandad a few years ago and we had a great time.

I won't physically be riding to Brownsea Island as I am only 15!  The total amount of miles I will be cycling is 270. I will be aiming to ride an average of 5 miles a day and so this should take me roughly 55 days.

I hope to cycle into Northchurch on the last day to arrive at Nana and Grandad's house to cross the finish line!

I would really appreciate anything you can give to this cause as its very close to my heart.

I hope to be able to give updates on Strava on my progress.
