BFB is powered by a team of volunteers, who do everything from collecting and sorting donations, to packing and delivering food parcels. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to function. We rely on donations to fill our parcels & run the charity. We are for the community, backed by our community!

Story

It was family tradition that our mum would buy Lee food from Iceland for Christmas - she liked to make sure that he had enough to eat - that his fridge and freezer were full.  He didn't want anything else and this made mum happy.  His favourite was always the prawn ring,

Dad and I continued this tradition for 2 years after we lost mum to breast cancer in 2019.

In April 2021 Lee was found dead in his bed - he had very little food in his fridge or his freezer - this Memory will live with us forever.

This Christmas dad and I would like to donate to Bassetlaw Foodbank in Lee’s Memory - helping those who desperately need it.

Lee remains in our hearts always - this is our way of making sure he is not forgotten.

We’d love any support. Xx
