Story

As most of you know we are doing the Outlaw triathlon on 1 July. The event is an iron distance triathlon which starts at 6am with a 3.8km swim in Nottingham Holme Pierre Point lake thing, 180km cycle around the roads of Nottinghamshire and 42.2km run alongside the R Trent turning around near Notts Forest Football Ground (a treat for Shaun, he is hoping to time this with a wee stop!). Anywhoo, we, like most people on their first iron distance (there won't be a 2nd) are xxxking ourselves and hope to complete it in an ok time without dying. The cut off is 17hrs, we both hope to be under 13, preferably nearer 12 (I don't know how yet!!!)

We are raising money for CLIMB (Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases) and would really appreciate any cash, no matter how small, towards this charity.

PS. An early thank you to our support crew - the Liz and Jo combo and Vickster the Brickster! Thankyou in advance for your encouragement and patience.
