Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page :)

On Sunday 22 April I will be taking part in the Virgin London Marathon 2012 for the first time. This is an extremely daunting challenge for me and I will be training very hard over the next few months to ensure I cross the finish line in a decent amount of time!

I will be raising money on behalf of Sense - The National Deafblind and Rubella Association. Sense is the UK’s largest organisation that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. It provides specialist services as well as expert advice and information to deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals that work with them. Sense also supports people who have sensory impairments with additional disabilities.

My target set to achieve in fundraising this year is £1,500 and I would very much appreciate any sponsorship to help me reach this target. This amount will make a huge difference to the people supported by Sense.

Thank you for your support
