To all who know us or who we are doing this for,

 

I, Rhuari, and one of my closest friends Rory Read are taking part in the London Olympic plus Triathlon this year, 2012. Many of you may know Rory and I previously took part in a triathlon similar to this - but now we are heading back to do it one final time, with an even greater cause, covering a much further distance.

This will entail a 1500m Swim in the River Thames, a 90km Cycling stint, and a 10km Run to finish. 

We are both aware times couldn’t be harder with regards to finances, but we are doing this for someone very close to the both of us, and it is a very personal affair.

As some of you may have sponsored us for a previous triathlon, you may ask why you should do so again unless were really going to go for it...therefore I (Rhuari) will also be taking part in 5 other events in order to plead for your support to our cause...

The Northampton Triathlon - 1500m Swim, 40km Bike, 10km Run - 24/06/12 

   

The Windsor Swim - 3000m (3K) - 08/07/12 

  

The Marlow Swim - 3000m (3K) - 26/08/12 

 

The Virgin London Triathlon Olympic Plus with Rory Read - 1500m Swim - 90km Bike Ride - 10k Run  - 22/09/12

This is just a little way of showing someone what they mean to us, and how much we care, as thank you will never quite be enough.

 

We would love it if any of you feel like showing a friendly face at the end of the London Triathlon as its going to be a grueling Mission to complete.
