Hello everybody!
I have so far been pretty lazy in life, and have therefore decided to take part in the The London Triathlon 2010, in support of a great charity called The Brain Research Trust.
The BRT is a fantastic charity that concentrates on exploring new therapies for a huge range of common and rare diseases affecting the central nervous system. My aim is to raise a minimum of £500 and I need your help please!
I have been training pretty hard and have recently completed a sprint triathlon in preparation, but the occasion is looming and I'm getting pretty bloody nervous. On August 8th I'll be fighting my way through the waters of Victoria Docks among 800 others for 1.5km, then hop onto my bike for a 40km cycle through the streets of Westminster, and if still alive, stumble over the line after a 10km run on the Thames waterfront. Lovely.
Any donations in support of my aching limbs and more importantly The Brain Research Trust would be hugely appreciated, so get that warm fuzzy feeling and take a minute or two to follow the link below, whatever you can afford i'll be very grateful!
I'll keep you all updated with training progress and obviously give the occasional gentle nudge to remind you to donate.
Thanks guys, hope your all well!
