Mount Everest trek and other events · 3 November 2019

Embrace Child Victims of Crime (CVoC) is a national children’s charity that focuses all its time on helping children, young people and families recover from the effects of crime. Our specialist services help them recover from their trauma, rebuild their lives and help them on their healing journey.

Story

In November I will be completing a 130km trek through the Himalayas to Everest base camp to show that no matter what you’ve suffered in life no mountain is too high. This will feature as part of a TV documentary about my journey from a young child who was sexually abused and had nothing to live for, now I’m climbing the highest mountain in the world and have achieved so much in my journey to become who I am today.  I will also be completing a range of other events over the year to help raise money and awareness for Embrace CVOC who supported me when I was a victim of physical and sexual abuse as a child.
