Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2014 I did the Ice Bucket Challenge in aid of Motor Neurone Disease, but I didn`t do it just to join with the millions of others who got involved with it when it went viral on the internet.  I did it for my mum, Ashley Morgan, who is living with MND.

She is my biggest fan, and is the one who encouraged me to turn my passion for music into my full-time career.  She also helps me with all the admin and computer stuff that I am useless at!  And all this from her wheelchair while battling MND.

Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating illness that affects the nerves which enable the muscles to move.  Gradually these nerve cells die until it`s victims often lose the ability to walk & talk; swallow food; and breathe air.  They don`t know what causes it; there is no cure; and it`s always fatal.

Along with one of my regular venues, The Tipsy Pig Craft Ale House in Romsey, I am hosting the Grizzly Pig Fest on Saturday 9th June 2018 in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.  BBQ, raffle and live music from 2.30-11pm featuring Jim Blair from Hip Route; Jim Hammond; Blue Brown; Colin Webb & Rich Ellmer; Ruby & The Revelators Acoustic; and I`ll be closing off the show with my foot-stomping Roots & Blues one-man show.

Please come along and support this event, or make a donation to help find a cure for MND and to provide much needed support for the people living with it.  This charity is very close to my heart, and any donation you can make will be much appreciated.
