Laid out on the sofa following my last Half Marathon, taking ibuprofen for my banging knees & questioning my ‘love’ of running when a message comes up - Lisa Claire Wallis - would I run for a charity that has touched my friends and family’s hearts, a charity this fantastic lady selflessly puts at the forefront of everything she does despite her own battle, a charity cherished by the community? What else could I say but YES!!
Now that the autumnal weather creeps in and the training runs get harder the realisation of what running for a charity really means sinks in Ekkkk! Now to step up the training and concentrate on sponsorship before the 30th September
