Torbay Half Marathon 2021 · 12 September 2021

We are MACS; supporting children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. Every year in the UK, around 90 children are born with a MACS condition. We provide practical and emotional support for the whole family, to help children reach their full potential and enjoy life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During the first Covid lockdown, my youngest daughter, Remi, was diagnosed with Microphthalmia and Chorioretinal Coloboma when she was a few months old.  This means she has almost no sight in her left eye.

She was 1 in February, and is completely smashing life and keeping us on our toes and hasn’t let her condition effect her determination and love for life so far!

The MACS charity offer advice and support for people like Remi, and their families and I am hoping to raise some money to help them do what they do 🎈

I haven’t set a fundraising target as any donation, big or small, will be gratefully received.

Knowing that I have been supported will give me more determination to smash the run 🙌🏻

Even if you can’t donate, please send me your good luck vibes!
