Story
If at first you don't succeed....
As a lot of you will know I trained for two years to participate in this race two years ago, only to suffer a bad fall 9 days before the race. This resulted in cracked bones and torn muscles, and the dream of riding in a horse race at Ascot was over..... at least for that year.
The lovely people at Property Race Day understood the lengths I had gone to in order to qualify for the 2017 edition, and kindly guaranteed me a spot in this years race.
So here I am, trying to finish the mission. I am currently back in full training and will be riding on the straight mile at Ascot on July 12th as part of Property Race Day 2019, which is raising money for five different childrens charities:
WellChild, LandAid, Child Bereavement UK, Downright Excellent and Trust for African Schools.
Any donations would be hugely appreciated as I continue my quest to complete this rather dangerous challenge!
