Hi, My name’s Rich aka Blind Rich/Burt and I’m raising money for a charity that has helped me and many of my blind and visually impaired friends over the years. Visual impairment can affect many of us, especially as we age and the lovely people at Sight Support can provide advice, support and visual aids to those that may need it, and they’re desperately in need of extra funding.

My friend and guide Beardy Robin have been training hard, so that we can participate in The Race to the Stones in July. It’s an ultra marathon that takes place over two days and is 100k long! I’ve also been ably assisted by my guide dog Dilly on some of my training sessions.

I was previously a 3 x GB paralympian in downhill skiing so I’m used to setting myself challenges, but this one is going to be a tough one.
