Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Twenty years after the death of my younger brother and on reaching the landmark age of 50 I feel that it is time to realise a dream to run a marathon and raise money for a good cause.  

As you can see we successfully completed the marathon and ran the last 2 miles together.  Josh left me at the start, was 2 minutes up by halfway and it took me another 11 miles to catch him up.  Hare and tortoise?  We'd like to say a big thank-you for all of the donations so far and if you haven't donated a big please for a donation now you are here reading our story.

Jeff was a huge animal lover and in fact swapped my Captain Scarlet car for one his tortoises, Toby.  Fortunately all three tortoises are alive and well, being cared for by our 83 year old father/ grandfather.  Rather than receive any 50th birthday presents I thought that a £1/mile (£26 if I make it) from family and friends will help the WWF with their good work. Of course I will be grateful to anyone else who would like to make a similar or smaller donation.  Every little will help, thank-you.

Each £26 will help buy 100 seedlings to replant the rain forest of Tanzania or pay for a Rhino Warden's wages for 10 days, so please dig deep and help protect the world for all animals to share with us.
