Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I want to raise funds as part of DLA Piper's support for the Challenge this year.

For a number of years the Sheffield office of DLA Piper has been an active supporter of the Master/Mistress Cutler's Challenge but I have not personally been the most involved member of our office in those efforts.

This year I have decided that I need to get more involved.  Any personal challenge I take on needs to be something pretty difficult to be considered worthy of your sponsorship and so I have elected to challenge myself to drink no alcohol from opening of business on Friday 17 April to close of business on Friday 15 May 2015.

As many of you will know, the Master Cutler's Challenge 2015 is raising funds for the Brathay Trust which is a charity supporting children and young people in our Sheffield City region, who, through no fault of their own, find themselves facing huge life challenges that they cannot overcome without help and guidance - which is where the Brathay Trust comes in.

I would love to raise at least £1,000 and would be immensely grateful for any sponsorship that you feel able to give me.  Unlike many people I have spoken to, I can see no reason at all that I should not be able to achieve this herculean feat, but in the event that I do fail, I will donate £1,000 personally to the Master Cutler's Challenge.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity, so it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
