Having done my first marathon in Manchester in 2019 I wasn't sure I would do another. However, after a few months rest I forgot the pain and entered the Wrecsam Tri Club ballot for the London 2020 Marathon and was lucky enough to get the club place. 

Although it's not a charity place, I've decided that I would like to use this opportunity to raise money for my chosen charity, St Christopher's School, Wrexham. The school caters for children aged 5-19 with additional learning needs. My son Luke attends the Independent Living Department (IDL) which focuses on developing social and life skills. He thoroughly enjoys his time in school and has had great caring, support and access to many wonderful opportunities.

The IDL unit would like to spend some money on their outdoor learning resources, which is great as Luke really enjoys being outdoors. Any money you are able to donate will go towards providing more outdoor learning opportunities for Luke and his fellow learners.
