Story

Hello.

I am running the Brighton Marathon in April 2019.

I will be running for Special Effect, a charity that helps people with physical disabilities play video games. Using everything from motion eye control to modified joysticks Special Effect endeavour to find new and innovative ways for disabled people to play and enjoy video games to the very best of their ability.

Video games are brilliant. Whether it was finding Level 0 on Toejam and Earl, smashing Toby at penalty shoot-outs on FIFA or playing Resident Evil from behind the sofa during the summer holidays in 1996 - life would have been way less fun without the escapism and joy that video games provided me and I think it's really important that everyone should be able to experience that.
