We support people living with brain injury to give them the best quality of life

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I am competing in the Hever Castle Super Sprint Triathlon on Saturday 26th September in support of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) in Putney, London. RHN provide care and rehabilitation for adults with profound disabilities resulting from severe brain injury and neurological conditions.

As some of you may already know our friend and colleague of 10 years, Ben Buckham, is currently in neuro-rehabilitation after an accident in March this year that resulted in a serious brain injury. Ben has been slowly regaining his neuro function over the past few months, but the road to recovery will take time and support from his family, (wife Dani and mother Sally), friends and the RHN. RHN provide expert and vital care for Ben on a 24 hour basis.

I am hoping to raise £2,000 for RHN so they can continue to provide vital support to Ben and also make life better for other adults with brain injuries.

The Hever Castle Super Sprint consists of a 400m Swim, 20km bike ride and a 4km run to finish. I am hoping to complete the Triathlon in 1 hour 30 mins.

You support is massively appreciated. To find out more about RHN and their current appeals please visit - https://www.rhn.org.uk/support-us/donate/appeals/
