Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am as surprised as you are that I'm doing anything for charity, let alone more.  "Another charity thing?"  you'll ask, reluctant hand dipping into wallet or stroking a hesitant mouse button...  "But Richard, we just gave for Britain's Hardest Marathon (as you kept calling it) and the ultramarathon before that....."

No you didn't; that was a whole year ago.  Thanks, but MORE!!

Anyway, after cancer's mucky little digit had another wee shot at the Sharpes I'm doing another stupid thing and trying to raise some cash for Prostate Cancer.  This time it is a real challenge, not some namby pamby jog.  It's an Iron Man, but one which also has the greatest vertical ascent of any iron man in the world.  That's 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile cycle from Edinburgh to Glen Coe, and then 26.2 miles of running, finishing with a jaunt over Ben Nevis.  Full details can be found at http://www.ratracecitytosummit.com/index.html
