The ForAva Foundation is a small, registered charity that produces bespoke “Be There” boxes for kids (and their families) who are in isolation undergoing treatment for childhood cancer and/or other conditions requiring a bone marrow / stem cell transplant.

We take some details of what the kids like and don’t like, and then go shopping for goodies to make their stay less lonely and to let them know that someone, who has been through it, is thinking of and supporting them at a time when they need it most.

The Foundation aim to provide 50 – 60 boxes per year, with each box costing around £100 each. But this gives 50 – 60 kids and their families a much-needed boost. One of the hospitals they support is RMCH – so it’s a great local cause to the lab.
