Those of you who know me well, will know why I am doing this.

Those of you who don't...it's in celebration of my wonderful, brave and remarkable wife - who our three amazing little girls and I are blessed to still have here with us. It's been a long hard road. We have a journey still ahead of us. We love you.  

On the 3rd of April I will be undertaking my Reading Half '1001 Challenge' - running the 13.1 miles of the Reading Half Marathon while stopping every mile to knock out 77 press ups*, so that by the time I cross the finish line I will have completed 1001 of them.

Please support me and sponsor me in this event. It is the start of what I aim to be a long term commitment to raising money for helping to ease the burden that cancer brings upon us all. When we consider that 50% of people born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime...well, I'll just leave that thought with you.
