In January of this year Matt - one of my best friends was due to become a Father. Heartbreakingly his beautiful baby girl was stillborn at 37 weeks.

To honour her memory, and raise money for Kicks Count Matt & Gemma have organised a continuous 37 hour football match and fun day at Crediton Football Club. The significance of the number 37 is because Lily died at 37 weeks.

We kick off around 10pm on Friday the 8th July and will play right through until noon on the 10th. This will be a huge physical challenge for all the players taking part, but at the same time a great privilege to be asked to participate.

Matt & Gemma are 2 of the bravest people I know, and dealing with their grief by focusing on raising money and awareness so that other parents may be spared the heartbreak like no other of losing a child.
