After 7 years of hurt – 7 consecutive rejections of my London Marathon application – I have FINALLY gained a spot for the 2015 London Marathon thanks to Sheffield based charity Cavendish
Cancer Care.
Cavendish do an amazing job in supporting local people who are
living with cancer. They give emotional support through counselling and complementary therapies to the patient, their carers and their children. Without them many people in our region would have to face cancer alone.
Like any charity, they rely on the generosity and commitment of friends and supporters. Any amount you can donate will get me a step closer to my fundraising target and will help Cavendish look after people who are often at their lowest point.
