We recently lost my father and it was more sudden than we would have hoped. He was the primary caregiver to my mother who has been living with Parkinson’s Disease for over a decade. We are asking anyone who wants to make a real impact to do so by donating to a cause my father cared deeply about solving. He was tremendously loyal and his strongest loyalty was to my mother. As her caregiver, he saw firsthand how hard it is to live with PD and he would want nothing more than to have seen it cured.

It’s hard to know what to write about our dad. He was a great one and taught us more than he realized. He was the sort of person who did so more by his actions than by his words, but those were also regularly kind. He was a great son and brother. He often told those around him how proud he was of us and how much he loved us. It’s important to do that. He was a massive fan and supporter for those close to him. He showed up. Not everyone would have seen it, but he was bold and brave. He worked hard and very much prioritized his family.

He loved being a grandad. His grandkids made him so very happy. For him, I wish he had more time with them. He loved his wife Libby dearly after 49 years of marriage and was very committed to her.
