Story
Firstly, thank you for visiting my just giving page. A donation whether small or large is greatly appreciated.
As some of you may know both me and my dad suffer from crohns. I've battled with this disease now for 7 years in which I had to have a life saving operation in 2015 because of a perforated bowel caused by crohns. Whilst living with a temporary ileostomy for nearly a year I found this charity extremely helpful. Both me and my dad who has also had surgery, have decided to give something back to this amazing charity and to also raise awareness of this disease.
Crohns is a life long condition which there is no known cure. This charity is so important as it funds lots of research to hopefully find a cure for everyone suffering.
The charity
Crohns and colitis is the leading charity in the battle against Inflammatory Bowl Disease (IBD). The two main forms of IBD are crohns and colitis. There is currently more than 300,000 people in the UK who suffer from either of these diseases. Their mission is to help people with these conditions achieve a better quality of life, improve services and ultimately find a cure. They help to improve diagnosis, treatment and management of IBD. They support life changing research to increase knowledge of the causes and the best treatments for IBD suffers.
