Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you may know, my beautiful mother fought many Illnesses through her lifetime and was a true warrior. She instilled in me the will to keep fighting no matter what challenges come my way. Sepsis however was one fight she could not conquer. The NHS did their very best and I will forever be greatful for their efforts. I will never be able to repay their efforts over a 20 year period of caring for her but what I can do is live on in her memory and do good for the world.

My goal is to raise a minimum of £2000 with your help in 2019. I’m planning on scaling the heights and terrain of Brecon Beacons in Wales. Another one will be Snowdonia (not the easy route of course); Ben Nevis. If you have any other ideas, let me know and let’s get some.

A cracker of an event is taking place in November.  Keep checking for more details. It’ll be a 6 Day event

UPDATE - heading up Ben Nevis in Scotland, Saturday 10th August

COMPLETED- Snowdonia - May 11th 2019

COMPLETED - Brecon Beacons Saturday 24th Feb

The horseshoe route is the demanding one its 9 miles

My final route is a blinder. It’s a demanding nine mile circuit leading

from the Taf Fechan Forest up to Corn Du (873m), Pen y Fan (886m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m), the one with the diving board rock, returning via the eastern Neuadd Valley.
