Aberlour Child Care Trust - Strictly Come Prancing Ayr · 12 November 2011 ·

1 in 4 children are living in poverty in Scotland. That isn’t right. Not all children are born with an equal chance. We know that by working together we will beat poverty and discrimination. With your help, we will reach more children and their families earlier, before it’s too late.

Story

Neil and I are leaving our comfort zones, and venturing out onto the dance floor. We checked our pride at the door in the name of all that sparkles. Yes, we’re participating in this year’s Strictly Come Prancing, sweating out in dance rehearsals for more than two months. We’re both used to staring down a striker on the pitch, but impressing a panel of judges with our version of the tango is whole new type of tuff for us.

But in all seriousness we would love for you to join us on this journey. Aberlour Children’s Charity provides gorgeous gems of hope to hundreds of children in need. The charitable cause gives the type of opportunities, so many of us take for granted to young people, who deserve them a million times over.

Please give what you can. No amount is too small. We thank you in advance, and promise to send you pictures of Neil’s spray tan!
