My Grandfather Reg Corbett, having survived two heart attacks and double bypass heart surgery in the early 1980's, arranged a series of sponsored walks between Bewdley and Arley - the idea being rather than an "ultimate challenge", anyone could take part and raise money for British Heart Foundation and numerous local charities.

Reg sadly passed away in December 2006 aged 73, but in memory of a wonderful Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend we are looking to remember and celebrate his life within days of what would be his 80th birthday.

We are walking once more between Bewdley and Arley, along the banks of the River Severn, retracing the steps of the walks through the 1980's. The walk is open to anyone who is wanting to take part (more information at https://www.facebook.com/events/132949903551496/142604239252729) - If you wish to take part, entry is a £5 donation per family.

If you don't want to take part or can't for any reason, please could I ask you to take a moment to sponsor me for doing this - I know it's no "Three Peaks Challenge" but it means a lot to me personally and is very close to my heart (literally!) having last year been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, LV dysfunction and heart failure myself.
