We've not set a target for this page as we initially decided to run the 10k as a personal challenge for ourselves but after reading through the organiser's charity page, we would appreciate any assistance in supporting the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.

The Jane Tomlinson Appeal helps children to be happier and healthier and improves the lives of people living with cancer through the following initiatives:

• OWLS children's bereavement care Providing support for children who have suffered the devastating loss of someone special, like a parent, sibling or another family member
• Children's health and well-being Improving the mental and physical well-being of children in disadvantaged areas
• Early detection of breast cancer Supporting research to detect breast cancer earlier, potentially saving countless lives
• Kinesio Taping Exploring the benefits of Kinesio Taping – and how it can alleviate pain in people living with cancer.. Jane received the treatment herself in her final few months and her family reported that it improved her quality of life immeasurably
