The University of Southampton is funding and operating a world-leading centre in Cancer Immunology. The research and treatment could literally change the prospects of thousands of people currently fighting cancer in the UK, and so many more in the future. 

In an almost unprecedented move, the University is going to raise £25,000,000 for this astonishing project. I'm doing a little bit to help by running the half marathon here as fast as I can this weekend. I'm thankful to be fit & well, so I'm going to use that privilege and run it in under 90 minutes if I can.
