Through no fault of his own, Mike had a serious motorbike accident in Derbyshire on 2 August 2019 and was airlifted to Hospital in Stoke for emergency surgery.  Despite the odds, he survived and is making good progress - while a number of organisations and individuals assisted in this outcome, without the skill and dedication of this completely unfunded voluntary organisation it may have been a different story for Mike.
