I will be 53 years of age at the time of this prestigious race and it will be my first time running London Marathon.

I was fortunate to get a place through the general ballot, much to the annoyance of my running friends.

I felt that I should use this opportunity to raise money for a local charity that is close to my heart.

This charity has been very supportive for our family and has provided many opportunities and experiences for our very much loved foster daughter.
