The charity supports Hadrian School which caters for up to 160 primary aged children in Newcastle upon Tyne who have complex learning difficulties. Please let us know if you start a campaign for us so we can thank you personally. admin@hadrian.newcastle.sch.uk

Story

My little boy Owens school Hadrian School has been mindlessly vandalised the outdoor area that the kids use has huge amounts of damage, the school bus has been damaged and the softpore playground has been painted on with offensive words and slogans, the kids go back on Monday and now don't have this area to play in. It will be great if we can help out The Friends of Hadrian Charity in buying new toys and specialist equipment for these awesome kids.

UPDATE

Thank you everyone!

Right I've been having a think 🤔 I need to do more to help Hadrian School. The staff have been in all week trying to clean up the damage and graffiti so our kids don't see what has happened. The money people have donated will help repair this and further enhance the facilities for the kids. Most of the schools equipment is supplied by charities, so don't be under the illusion they are rolling in cash. Let's do more.

So I thought, what can I do? I'm not going to climb Everest or anything because I hate the cold and don't want to die. So I thought I'd push my self to run further than I've ever ran before. I'm going to run from North shield pier to South shields pier crossing the Tyne using the swing bridge, I thought about swimming the Tyne but don't like the cold and don't want to die. This is a 21 mile run, so I've got till 30th June to get ready for it. If you can please make a small donation on the link below. I'll no doubt keep you all posted on my training progress xx
