Robbie and Emily - United States Marine Corps Marathon and 10K Challenge

Both Robbie Garthland and Emily Scrace will be taking part in this year’s United States Marine Corps Marathon and 10k race on Sun 28th October 2018. Due to this being the Royal Marines 354th birthday, Robbie will be running the full Marathon while carrying 32lbs (fighting order and weapon weight) in a day-sack, wearing combat fatigues and combat boots. Emily will also be taking part in the MCM 10K race where she hopes to post a new personal best!
We are both delighted to be running on behalf of the Reorg Foundation who raise money for the Royal Marines Charity. Please see below for details:
MISSION
To provide a platform for serving personnel and veterans to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as part of their recovery pathway and help combat the challenges from mental and physical disabilities.
METHOD
The REORG Jiu Jitsu Foundation Charity sits under the Royal Marines Charity but supports veterans from all services at locations all across the UK. The REORG team can train all levels and all abilities.
