Story

I have recently been touched by how this illness can effect families .

A friend and colleague of mine and son to one off my best friends has recently took his own life.

I for one always brushed mental illness off in my ignorance and thought " come on man up " But this illness effects so many and especially in young men .

It can be hard for people to understand the illness if it does not effect you personally . Until you have seen someone suffer first hand.

We all need to play a small part in talking about this illness as I can almost guarantee you someone you know will be effected by mental illness .

We all need to bring this topic to the limelight. To raise awareness and money so SAMH can move forward and help those who need it.

Hopefully by trekking to the north pole  this may grab people's attention to donate some cash for this great cause .  People may talk about this and the reason why to others and this may just raise awareness or give just 1 person the feeling they can talk about what they are going through to a friend or colleague.

So come on people if I can sleep in a tent at -40 for 14 days and chase polar bears about am sure you can part with some off your cash.

I know you get asked alot for sponsor but this is truly a charity worth helping.

Love u all.
