The Friends of Friendless Churches was founded to save historic but redundant places of worship from destruction and decay. Increasingly they do that by taking them into permanent care.

They now own nearly 50 former churches and private chapels which they preserve intact as beautiful historic buildings and peaceful places for visitors and local community to enjoy.
