Tough Mudder 2013 - Scotland · 24 August 2013 to 25 August 2013 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On August 24th, I will be participating in the Edinburgh Tough Mudder 2013 event. Tough Mudder events are 12 mile-long (19 km) assault courses designed by the army which include obstacles such as mud, fire, ice baths, 12 foot walls, underground mud tunnels, barbed wire, fields of live wire and many more.

I am taking part in this challenge to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of my sister Maurissa Clark who passed away aged 20 on 26th June 2012 after a 4 year-long battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system). The Teenage Cancer Trust provided great support to Maurissa, myself and my family during a very difficult time. They truly make a huge impact on the lives of those teenagers fighting cancer and their families.

Every penny you donate will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust, I am covering all the costs associated with taking part in the event.

Please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks,

Robert.
