Fundraising for Headway Ayrshire
Story
Myself and a couple of friends are walking the River Ayr path from Glenbuck through a variety of landscapes, moorland and farmlands to the county town of Ayr where the River finally reaches the firth of Clyde.
We are raising money for Headway Ayrshire an organisation which my wife, myself and my family relied on immensely for help and support and who continue to support Karen (my wife) to date, after her Acquired Brain Injury .
A few years along this long road we have seen some superb and continued progress from Karen and helped greatly through her weekly visits to the Headway group in Ayr .
I am now looking to the generosity of friends and family and asking that you sponsor me to help this great organisation continue to help , support and raise awareness of Brain Injury for not just my wife but other families in Ayrshire who have to deal with this difficult illness.
